The intent of this success criterion is to make it possible for users to locate content in a manner that best meets their needs. Users may find one technique easier or more comprehensible to use than another.

Ways to meet the criterion

Allow users to navigate the site in more than one manner to help them find information easier and faster. The purpose is that a site doesn’t rely on one method of navigation.

Some examples of different methods of navigating a site are:

  • navigation
  • inline links
  • search
  • site map
  • table of contents
  • list of related pages

Ensure that all your web pages are being linked to.
